About Team Walton

Team Walton is a girls basketball program under Limitless Basketball Academy (LBA) dedicated to developing Limitless Athletes who are confident, skilled, and resilient. Through elite player development, high-level competition, and intentional mentorship, we prepare athletes to grow as players and people.

Tryout Information

    A basketball, water bottle, and anything else you may need to be successful on the court (ex: inhaler, ankle braces, etc.)

    Player Development

    Our training is skill-based and rooted in real game actions, with position-specific development that emphasizes basketball IQ, pace, and confident decision-making.

    Mentorship

    Athletes are coached by an all-female staff of former collegiate, professional, and overseas players who lead, teach, and mentor beyond the game of basketball.

    Competitive Play

    Athletes compete local and national events, gaining meaningful exposure and opportunities designed to help them reach the next level.

Tryout FAQs

  • Team Walton is for dedicated, coachable athletes who want to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and grow both on and off the court. We look for players who value effort, accountability, and being part of a team.

  • Coaches evaluate:

    • Basketball fundamentals and skill level

    • Game understanding and decision-making

    • Effort, competitiveness, and communication

    • Coachability and teamwork

  • Families will be notified via email within a few days of tryouts. Selected athletes will receive additional program details, expectations, and next steps at that time as well.

  • The season includes two (2) weekly practices, at least two (2) tournaments per month, and other team events such as fundraising, team bonding, etc. Commitment may vary by age group but is designed to balance development, competition, and long-term growth.

  • We practice in the Renton area. Occasionally in the Seattle area as well.

  • Yes! Our high school teams will travel during the 2026 live viewing periods and our middle school teams will travel out of state at least 1x per season.

  • In addition to our approach to elite player development and creating opportunities for exposure, we are the only all-female coaching staff in the area and each of our coaches played at the collegiate (JUCO, DII, DI) and the professional level (WNBA, Overseas). Representation is key and we believe that if you can see it, you can be it!

  • Team Walton exists to help remove barriers for young female athletes to participate in sports. We have limited financial assistance available, but we encourage families to inquire directly after tryouts for more information.
